Our brand new exciting project from the 16th April the Migrant Hub will be a drop-in service offering free advice and practical support to migrants, refugees and asylum seekers.
What We Do
Every week we offer:
Support for survivors of domestic violence
A shared hot lunch
On a rotating basis the Hub hosts outreach workers offering:
Support for families facing destitution
Support for survivors of gender-based violence
Support accessing healthcare
Support building skills and accessing employment
We have a limited number of immigration and housing advice sessions at each drop-in and we cannot guarantee that visitors to the Hub will be able to see an advisor.
We do not offer legal representation – the legal advisors at the Greenwich Migrant Hub drop-in give one-off advice in the session and cannot take cases on. We cannot complete or check immigration applications or other forms.
Our Partner Organisations include:
Greenwich Housing Rights // Her Centre // Housing for Women // Together with Migrant Children // Rape Crisis South East London // Greenwich Health Watch // Fareshare
When and Where
The Hub is open every Tuesday at the Woolwich Common Community Centre, Leslie Smith Square, Woolwich, London SE18 4DW .
We see people on a first come first served basis and can only see a limited number of people each week.
The session runs from 10.30am -2pm. We advise that you arrive before the start of the session as we are currently full by the time we open each week.
