LRMN Week

On September 20th, LRMN celebrates its 37th birthday! Over the next week, we’re recounting all the reasons why we love our work and our community - and how you can support us so we can keep celebrating these anniversaries for many years to come.

Order our limited edition merch here (only until September 20th)!

We’re launching the first-ever annual LRMN Week to celebrate 37 years since LRMN first became a charity!
LRMN got its start as a local grassroots organisation working with sanctuary seekers in Lewisham. Though our size and scope has grown since then, we remain dedicated to our initial mission to serve our community. We also wouldn’t be here after all these years without an immense amount of community support and solidarity – so this is a week-long thank you to all of you!

LRMN Week is an opportunity to reflect on all the reasons why we love our community, and why we do the work we do. We want to see a world where people don’t have to face borders in everyday life. But we don’t just dream – we work toward that goal every day.

You can give directly via JustGiving. For the price of one of tea or coffee per month, you can make a lasting, tangible impact in creating a world where all people are welcomed, regardless of immigration status.

For this week only, we also have limited-edition merchandise available! Orders close on September 20, so visit our Everpress campaign to order a t-shirt or crewneck sweatshirt (seen above) before they’re gone forever.

Finally, share our social media posts and merchandise launch with your friends, family, and followers. Follow us on X/Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook – our username is @LRMNetwork across all platforms.

Your donations go a long way in helping our community thrive. Our LRMN Week goal is to raise £1000, which can fund

  • 21 nights of shelter for a refugee facing homelessness,
  • 40 counselling sessions for destitute migrant women living with trauma,
  • or 2 months of Migrant Hub drop-in services, where sanctuary seekers can receive support on everything ranging from housing to domestic violence.

So, order a t-shirt or crewneck or support us by making a one-off or recurring donation! All proceeds go toward making our community as welcoming and supportive as possible for our sanctuary seeking neighbours.

It's been an honour to support our community for the last 37 years. Want to know more about what we've been up to before donating to keep us running? Have a look here:
