Reception and Admin Assistant

We are looking for a reception and admin assistant to join our team in Deptford. You will be the first point of contact for all visitors to the office and you will provide a professional and pro-active secretarial and admin support to our busy office. You will be responsible for ensuring all phone calls are answered and dealt with appropriately, manage the appointment booking calendar and manage email and mail correspondence. You will ensure both our paper and online file casework management system is maintained accurately and efficiently. In addition to this, you will also provide essential admin support to our team of advisers to ensure our service to clients is of the highest standard.

We are looking for a passionate and proactive social media and communications volunteer to join our team. As LRMN continues to expand we are seeking to improve our social media presence. This role provides the opportunity for a talented and passionate communicator to improve our visibility and gain invaluable experience.

As a social media and communications volunteer you will play a key role within a small and dynamic team. The successful candidate will be provided with professional support and development opportunities.

LRMN Trustee with Legal/Advice Background

Lewisham Refugee and Migrant Network (LRMN) is a vibrant and thriving organisation providing vital services to refugees, asylum seekers and migrants across London but mainly in the south and southeast. We offer information and advice on immigration, housing and welfare, help people improve their skills, volunteer and or access employment. Therapeutic activities and 1:1 counselling are offered to women who survived gender based violence including rape, trafficking, domestic violence, female genital mutilation and more. LRMN also campaigns and influences policies which adversely affect our clients' lives. We offer English, sewing and knitting classes and gardening club on a weekly basis and provide hardship funds and food parcel to destitute clients.

We are looking for a trustee member who has legal/advice experience either on housing, welfare and or immigration and passionate about the issues of refugees and migrants.

Our trustees meet every quarter and meetings are normally held on weekdays from 6.30pm -9.00pm. For more information, please visit our website
