Advice that makes a difference
Advice Week was an opportunity to celebrate the important role advice services play in supporting people, protecting their rights and helping them navigate difficult times.
This October, we joined Advice UK to celebrate the impact of advice services and the people who deliver them. At LRMN, we see how much a difference the right advice can make to someone’s life. For refugees, asylum seekers and migrants, understanding their rights and knowing where to turn for support can make it easier to navigate unfamiliar systems and make informed decisions about their future.
Between April 2025 and March 2026, LRMN supported over 2,500 people across our services, including 898 people who received immigration advice. Behind these numbers are people looking for answers, seeking support and trying to build more secure futures for themselves and their families.Advice services support people with a wide range of issues, including immigration, housing, benefits and employment. Having access to clear, reliable advice can help people understand their options, deal with challenges and access the support they are entitled to.
We would like to thank Advice UK for featuring LRMN in its Advice Saves campaign. We are proud to be part of this collective call for greater long-term investment in advice services and recognition of the difference they make to people’s lives. You can watch LRMN’s contribution to the campaign here.
At LRMN, we remain committed to helping refugees, asylum seekers and migrants understand their rights, access support and feel more confident about the future. Advice is not just about finding answers to immediate problems; it is also about helping people feel informed, supported and able to move forward.
